A retired Civil Engineer I have been a club member for about 25 years and director and treasurer since January 2016. I am particularly proud of the club's programme to enable young people to play tennis.

Born in Sheffield and aged 10.5 years old I was inspired by Roger Taylor (Wimbledon Semi Finalist) and represented Yorkshire Ranked No.2. I competed full-time for six years and relocated to Plymouth in 1985 to run a coaching business for 33 years.
I am the Manager of SDTC and have been playing tennis all my life. I was brought up around tennis as all my family play and every evening was spent on the tennis court or helping out where needed.
I became a member of the tennis club in 1998 and volunteered for the committee in 2018. I particularly enjoy the singles and doubles box leagues - there surely isn't a more friendly club anywhere and our indoor courts are second to none.
Retired, director, photographer, printer.
I have been a member of the club since 1995 and regularly play in the ladies P&D teams and also the South Hams mixed league. I was Treasurer from 1998 to 2007.
