Ivybridge Tennis Club
The Ivybridge Community Association Tennis Club, was founded in 1967 and officially opened in 1972 with four outdoor courts and Clubhouse. The new Tennis Centre as it stands today was opened in May 2002 by the Duke of Kent.
Still Supported by the LTA and The LTA Foundation, Ivybridge Tennis Club at the South Devon Tennis Centre has developed a reputation for being best in class when it comes to it’s tennis offering.
From beginner adults to advanced, walking tennis to our Junior Academy, we will have something for you, and do not need to be a member to play here:

Membership
With membership packages starting from just over £100, we will have a membership that is tailored to the tenns that you want to play.
Pay and Play Courts
Community Park Courts, if you just want to book a court and play with friends. You can pay and play indoors or out and we can provide rackets and balls too.
Adult Group Coaching
From walking tennis to advanced adults we have a coaching group that will suit you. No need to be a member, just book, pay and turn up..
Junior Programme and Academy
As a LTA Youth Recognised Venue, the South Devon Tennis Centre is a shining light for how tennis should be delivered to our young players. Under the guidance of Paul Butcher Master Performance Coach LTA level 5.
Individual Lessons
For all players of all standards. Our coaches work on a self employed basis for their lessons, contact them direct to book. Pay the coach for the lesson and the club for the court. Members get free outdoor courts.
Tournaments
The Centre hosts a range of tennis tournaments throughout the year, including the annual Jane Watson event for club players, LTA Grade 3 and 4 events, plus numerous mini events for the young players.
Club Sessions
If you are a member of the club, you are welcome to attend our club sessions on a Wednesday, Friday morning from 10 am or a Friday evening from 6:30.
If the club sessions are not part of the membership package you chose, there is a fee for playing, but you get many hours of great friendly play, just turn up.

Box Leagues
If you are a member of the club, you can enter one of our box leagues. These are arranged by some of our volunteer tennis members. If you are interested to know more please complete the contact form.
Team Tennis
Express an interest in playing for the club in one of our may teams. We have teams for all abilities so if you have not played in a team before, please do still enquire.
