We believe that the best way for your child to begin competing in tennis, is to do so in the comfort of their own club with the support of their coaches and friends.
This is first introduced through games during their coaching sessions and expanded at the end of each term with team challenges and match play.
As your child progresses through their tennis journey with us, they can also take part in box matches and enter Whirlwind Mini events we are are delighted to host.

Match Play Week
At the end of each term we run a week of match play. This will be organised according to age and ability, to gently introduce competitive play.
- Younger Players – Red and Orange LTA Youth – this will be team challenges to introduce them to competitive fun activities and games
- Teens – Junior and Senior LTA Youth players – this may be their first experience of scoring and playing a match in a traditional tennis format.
- Academy Red and Orange Players – all of the matches played during match play weeks will count toward their LTA rewards.
- Academy Teens – will play timed matches – where possible making the use of outdoor courts to gain experience of competing on different surface
Junior Club Champs
As a junior coaching member of the club, your child is entitled to enter our junior club championships. Held over a number of weekends in the summer.
- May 4th – 8u and 10u
- from Saturday 1st June to Friday 21st July 14/U is a Round Robin Singles
- June 8th – 9 U
And not to leave the rest of the family out – everyone is welcome to attend our two family festivals
- March 2nd – Winter family festival
- 6th July – Summer Family Festival
